1 WATERPROOF USGS topographic maps for any US location you choose. These are printed on a special poly material, not just waterproof paper, that is suitable for use in places exposed to rain or water spray and is also stronger than regular paper, much more tear and puncture resistant.
These are the standard 7.5 minute quadrangles with a 1:24,000 scale. You get the center map that has the location you choose on it. You can either choose the standard USGS map sheet that will have your chosen address on it or we now offer to center a custom map on your chose address so your location is in the center of the map.
Please note if you plan to add adjacent map sheets later a custom centered map will not match up with the edges and you should choose and standard USGS sheet.
Optionally you can add a basic compass, US Army Map Reading and Land Navigation manual and a special mini protractor that works on both the 1:24,000USGS maps and the 1:25,000 military scale maps.
These are the newest editions of each map available, most are 2021 to 2024 editions. Printed on 24"x36 paper that leaves about 3" extra on the top and bottom margins compared to normal so there is more room for notes.
Shipped rolled in a 5x5x25 box that can serve as a storage container.

When you order please tell us the location you want the map centered on in the checkout notes or we will message you for the information. If you do not get a response within 24 hours we will default to the shipping address on the order to center the set around.
CARE AND USE NOTES FOR WATERPROOF MAPS- the ink on these needs 8-10 days to fully cure and be waterproof, we recommend leaving them unfolded / unrolled for a while when you first get them to allow this to happen. The paper looks like dry erase markers will work, they won't and will be permeant, trust me. These maps are made for use where they may be exposed to rain or water spray, not constant water immersion, so gently wipe them dry when done using them and don't store them wet. If you are a user who is rough on maps or will expose them to a whole lot of wetness we consider spraying a clear coat over them, we have used the Krylon Fusion clear spray with great results.
